When I try to add a yahoo messenger contact to msn messenger, it says they must have a msn passport. Am I doing this wrong? What the hell good is this if they have to go to that trouble? Thanks!

You cannot add your yahoo friends to MSN by using their Yahoo name. You need to have the email address they use for MSN. Sadly MSN requires a passport address which is usually a hotmail or other MSN affiliated email address. Contact your friend and get their MSN affiliated address, that way you can add them or give them the address you use to access your MSN and they can simply add you.
